Terms of Service

The service

Contactzy lets you create a digital business card you can share as a link or QR code and save to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The same card doubles as a link-in-bio page with your social profiles and a short list of custom links.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Contactzy.
• One person or organisation per account, please. An account may hold several cards within its plan limit.
• If you create a team, you are responsible for the people you invite and for the brand kit you apply to their cards. Members keep their own account and can leave at any time.

Referral programme

• When someone signs up through your invite link and makes their card public, you and they each receive 30 days of the Pro plan. Rewards extend an existing reward period; for paying subscribers the month is applied as a discount to the subscription, or as a credit we apply by hand.
• One reward per invited person. Self-referrals, duplicate or demo accounts, and invites obtained through spam do not qualify.
• We may adjust or end the programme at any time; rewards already granted are honoured.

Plans, billing & cancellation

• Basic is free and includes small “Powered by Contactzy” promo strips on your card.
• Pro is $0.99/month with the first 180 days (about six months) free. You can cancel any time during the trial and pay nothing.
• VIP is $2.99/month, billed monthly.
• Business is $29.99/month, billed monthly. It covers up to 50 cards on one invoice, with the team workspace, loyalty cards and the verified company badge.
• Enterprise is arranged with us directly. Scope, card limits and pricing are agreed in writing by email before anything is charged.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; we don't refund the current period unless required by law.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
• All prices are in US dollars and exclusive of local taxes where applicable.

Your content & responsibilities

• You own everything you put on your card. By uploading it, you grant us a limited licence to host and display it so the service can work.
• You confirm you have the right to publish every item on your card (including photos, logos and names).
• You won't use Contactzy for spam, phishing, fraud, impersonation, harassment, malware distribution, adult or illegal content, or to promote harm.
• You're responsible for every link you add. We may remove cards that link to harmful, deceptive or illegal material.
• Details that visitors share with you through your card's contact form, and the members of your loyalty card, are entrusted to you. You are their controller under data protection law: use them only for the follow-up they would expect, keep them safe, answer their requests and delete them when you no longer need them. Our data processing terms form part of these terms and govern how we process them for you.
• You won't try to disrupt, probe, exploit, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.

Personal data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and the data processing terms cover the details your visitors and customers share with you. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.

Our content

The Contactzy name, logo, website, templates and software are ours. You may use the service to build and share your own card, but you can't copy our branding or resell the platform.

Wallet providers

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are third-party services with their own terms. Availability, pass rendering and update behaviour depend on your device, region and those providers.

Suspension & termination

You can delete your card or close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, especially if they put other users or the service at risk.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features, change plans with notice, or pause the service for maintenance.

Disclaimer & limits

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. For material changes, we'll update the date at the top and give you reasonable notice before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom; mandatory consumer protections of your own country still apply to you.
