Delete your Contactzy account
You can delete your Contactzy account and everything in it at any time, from the app or from the website. It takes a minute and cannot be undone.
In the Contactzy app
- Open the More tab.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete permanently.
On the website
- Sign in at contactzy.com.
- Open Settings from the dashboard menu.
- Under Delete card & account, enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
Every card on the account and its public page, QR codes, photos, logos and banners, links, the contacts people shared with you, engagement statistics, campaign codes, loyalty programmes, team membership, signed-in devices and sessions. Wallet passes stop updating: Google Wallet passes are marked expired, and Apple Wallet passes are no longer served. If the account has an active subscription, the app cancels it as part of the deletion; on the website you are asked to cancel it first.
What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups, kept on our server for up to 14 days for disaster recovery, then deleted.
- Sign-in attempt logs, removed after 30 days.
- Payment records held by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
